Application
To apply for the Summer School, the candidates should send by e-mail (fluvialgeom2016@gmail.com):

personal CV containing the institutional address (2 pages maximum)

cover letter specifying his/her current research project and the motivation for attending the Summer School (1 page maximum)
PhD students just enrolled in their project as well as those close to the end of their studies are the target audience of this school. Only 30 places are available. Final selection of successful candidates will be performed by the organization committee. Priority will be given to students applying from Swiss Universities.
The deadline for submitting the application is Thursday April 14th 2016 at 1.00 pm (CET). One week after the deadline notifications of acceptance will be sent together with invoices for the registration fee.
Registration fee
The registration fee of the Summer School is 250 Swiss Francs. It includes:

Accommodation in shared apartments with fully equipped kitchen and breakfast from Monday June 27th to Saturday July 2nd

Coffee breaks (2 per day)

Ice breaker reception on Monday evening

One school dinner in a typical restaurant of Ticino

Field excursion (transportation and pocket lunch) on Friday.
Students will have to organize their own transportation from/to Casa Emmaus and their meals. Students can use the kitchen of the guesthouse. Otherwise, Losone offers plenty of nice restaurants.
