Casa Emmaus
Venue
The lectures of the Summer School will be held at Casa Emmaus, a lovely guesthouse located in Losone (Canton Ticino, Switzerland).
At Casa Emmaus, rooms for invited speakers and participants have already been reserved for the entire duration of the Summer School. Students will share small apartments with a fully equipped kitchen. Accommodation, breakfast and two coffee breaks per day provided by the staff of the guesthouse are included in the registration fee.

Getting There
By public transport:
Travel by train (SBB) to Locarno station. From the train station take the Bus N. 7 until the stop "Mercato Cattori", then continue walking (approximately 5 minutes) along the Via Emmaus.
By Car:
Coming from the Gotthard or from the San Bernardino, exit Bellinzona South. Then follow direction Locarno and Ascona. Take the tunnel Mappo Morettina until the exit Ascona. Exit the semi-motorway, cross the roundabout, turn in the direction of Ascona, then right again, "Via San Materno" direction Losone. After 700 meters (passing in front the rink/Skateboarding "Siberia"), you see the "Casa Emmaus" on your right. The parking is accessible by via Emmaus.

SHOPPING
The closest grocery store is located 250 m far from the guesthouse. Since fully equipped kitchens are available in the guesthouse, students can take advantage of that for lunch.
ATTRACTIONS
Losone is close to Ascona, often called the "Pearl of the Lake Maggiore" for its cultural heritage and for its touristic offer. It is situated near the delta of the Maggia river, in a splendid and sunny bay.
